Purpose
For children to be able to reach their highest level of potential, they must first have basic human needs met which include daily nutrition, responsive medical care, and a feeling of personal safety. Access to quality education is fundamental to improving the lives of disenfranchised children. We cannot change the world. But we can change the world of some children.
Current Projects
Beginning in 2012, ICEF assisted in developing the Daisy Academy, a school campus in the rural area of Bukura, Kenya. Carolyne Ashiono, a gifted educator and administrator, is the school director.
The Gardner Granny (orphan) Home was built and completed by ICEF in 2013. It presently houses 22 children and the house mother.
ICEF’s most current priority is to raise funds and complete a much needed security wall around the Daisy Academy campus, providing a secure environment for the school children, orphans, and women who work on the campus.
